At least 21 people have died in a fire at a hotel in South Delhi's Malviya Nagar this morning.
Out of the 21 killed in the hotel fire, 17 were foreign nationals.
An eyewitness who helped rescue people from the deadly Malviya Nagar hotel fire described scenes of panic, thick toxic smoke, and desperate efforts by locals to save trapped guests.
He said residents used ladders, ropes, hammers, and mattresses to help people escape through broken windows, while many victims are believed to have succumbed to suffocation, fear, and confusion amid the blaze.
