The Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) in Hyderabad has achieved a major milestone by successfully completing 1,000 robotic surgeries in just three years. According to NIMS Director Dr. Rahul, over 90% of these advanced procedures were performed free of cost under the Aarogyasri and Chief Minister's Relief Fund.
The surgeries covered patients from as young as nine months to 83 years old, offering greater precision, faster recovery, minimal blood loss, and shorter hospital stays.
