NEW DELHI: Emboldened by the success of student protests at Jantar Mantar, Samyukt Kisan Morcha - the umbrella organisation of farmer groups involved in the anti-farm laws agitation five years ago - announced Monday that it would restart protests at 100 locations across India, including Delhi, from Nov 26.The protesters will demand a law guaranteeing MSP; repeal of all FTAs, including the India-US FTA currently under negotiation; a comprehensive loan waiver to address rural indebtedness; scrapping of four labour codes; minimum wage of Rs 31,000 for workers and restoration of the old rural job guarantee scheme; withdrawal of Electricity Privatisation Bill 2025, Seed Bill 2025 and NFSA Amendment Bill; and no forceful land acquisition."The protests will not be called off till all seven demands are accepted," said P Krishnaprasad of AIKS.
