In an interview following the Bankipur election result, Jan Suraaj Party founder Prashant Kishor demanded that the BJP central leadership take the public mandate seriously. Questioning Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he asked whether his responsibility lies only with Gujarat when Bihar sends 40 MPs to Parliament.
Kishor stressed that Bihar's children deserve factories, employment, and an end to migration so they do not have to travel like cattle for daily labor. He urged the ruling party to appoint a clean, capable, and honest Chief Minister in Bihar rather than imposing anyone with a questionable background.
