In an interview, Ashutosh Ranka, spokesperson for the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP), discussed the ongoing student agitations in Jharkhand over paper leaks and irregularities in examination boards like JPSC. Ranka addressed questions regarding the physical presence of key CJP representatives in the state, explaining that while leadership faced health and legal obligations, volunteers on the ground continue to coordinate support for protesting students.
He questioned the Jharkhand government's inaction after ten days of peaceful sit-in protests, calling on authorities to respond to the students' legitimate demands. Emphasizing that youth across the country are standing up against systemic issues in education, Ranka stated, "The youth is done with rotten education system." He reaffirmed CJP's commitment to supporting student movements across political divides, urging governments nationwide to address examination reforms and listen to student concerns.
