'Victory Of People's Faith In Democracy': Opposition Hails Prashant Kishor's Bankipur Win Published By, Last Updated: August 03, 2026, 18:46 IST Bankipur Election Result: RJD leader Rohini Acharya termed the verdict a victory for people centric politics and extended her congratulations to Kishor wishing him success. Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener Arvind Kejriwal congratulated Kishor, saying, “The BJP has lost even the seat of its national president. Prashant Kishor ji has won from Bankipur with a huge margin. Heartiest congratulations to him." He further alleged that “The BJP’s ground has completely slipped away… The people of the country have given a signal of change." Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav also reacted to the result, calling it “the combined result of the unity of the youth and the outrage over vote theft, paper theft, corruption and inflation."
