Irrigation officials said that the discharge was in an increasing trend. The Lal Bahadur Shastri reservoir in Almatti had an inflow of 1,25,855 cusecs and an outflow of 1,30,000 cusecs. The dam has a live storage of 94.35 tmcft against the full capacity of 123 tmcft.
The Hippargi barrage had an inflow of 1,19,200 cusecs and outflow was 1,17,700 cusecs. The Raja Lakhamagouda dam on the Ghataprabha in Hidkal had around 36 tmcft against the full capacity of 51 tmcft. The inflow was 20,782 cusecs and outflow was 1,765 cusecs.
The Renuka Sagar dam on the Malaprabha had an inflow of 11,703 cusecs and outflow of 1,194 cusecs.
