Aspirants in Ranchi, Jharkhand, have entered the tenth day of an indefinite sit-in protest at the Jaipal Singh Munda stadium against alleged irregularities and paper leaks in competitive recruitment examinations. The protesting students are demanding the cancellation of the 14th Jharkhand Public Service Commission combined preliminary test and seeking an investigation by central agencies like the CBI and ED into JPSC and JSSC examinations conducted over the last seven years.
Expressing a lack of faith in the ongoing state CID investigation ordered by Chief Minister Hemant Soren, student leader Devendra Mahto stated that aspirants are on an indefinite hunger strike until their demands for exam cancellation, recruitment reforms, and central agency probes are met.
