Tata Motors has launched the Intra V40 pickup truck, strengthening its presence in the alternate-fuel small commercial vehicle segment.
The new pickup combines CNG and petrol bi-fuel technology with a payload capacity of 1,525 kg, targeting businesses engaged in high-load, last-mile transportation operations.
The Intra V40 is powered by a 1.2-litre bi-fuel engine that produces 58bhp and 106Nm of torque.
It features a 110-litre CNG tank and a bi-fuel architecture that allows operators to switch between CNG and petrol.
Designed for cargo-intensive applications, the pickup comes with a 2,960mm (9.7ft) load body, enabling higher carrying capacity and improved earning potential for fleet operators and small businesses.
