Here's Maja Chwalinska's interesting on-court interview. Q: Congratulations. You're into the semi-finals here at Roland Garros, your first Grand Slam semi-final. How does it sound? How do you feel? I honestly don't know what's going on. I really don't. I surprised myself, but every single match here is kind of crazy for me. So I'm very, very grateful. Q: Watching you today, it felt like you've been doing this for so many years.
You looked so comfortable, composed and in control of both your game and your emotions. Tell us a bit more, because maybe inside it was not exactly that. Exactly. I'm happy it looks like that, but I was definitely nervous. It's normal, you know. I care, so I'm stressed, of course. But I try to focus on my job and on my game.
So I'm happy that I did that. Q: You started this tournament in qualifying, so today you won your eighth match in a row. How confident are you with your game and your ability to deliver? Honestly, I don't know. I mean, I just try to win every match that I'm playing, but I'm not focusing on confidence. I'm playing against the best players in the world, so I won't compare myself to them.
Q: Compared to the earlier rounds, there is no day off now. You're back tomorrow. What is going to be your plan for this afternoon? Just sleep, have my tea, maybe watch some Netflix, and I'm good.
