Pappu Yadav Attack Incident: The Delhi Police have registerd an FIR against in connection with the scuffle at the residence of Independent MP Pappu Yadav on Sunday, when a man allegedly attacked and threw a slipper at him during a press conference. The FIR has been registered under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), including Section 221 (Obstructing a public servant in the discharge of their official functions), Section 121(1) (Preventing a public servant from discharging their duties or voluntarily causing hurt to them while they are performing their duties), Section 132 (Assaulting or using criminal force against a public servant to prevent them from discharging their duties), and Section 3(5) (Common Intention. If multiple individuals commit a crime with a shared criminal objective, all of them are held equally liable for that offense.) The incident took place on Sunday while Yadav was addressing reporters at his Delhi residence amid a controversy over the Opposition’s satirical skit in the Parliament complex on the alleged Ram Mandir donation issue.

According to reports, a man questioned Yadav over the skit and accused him of insulting Lord Ram before throwing a slipper at the MP. A scuffle subsequently broke out between the man and Yadav’s supporters.
