Rusty wore a green life jacket complete with a playful shark fin and protective dog goggles as he rode the waves alongside Sadlowski on the same surfboard. Their performance drew loud cheers from beachgoers, not only because of Rusty's surfing skills but also because of the inspiring journey that brought them to the event.The World Dog Surfing Championships were first held in 2016 and have since become one of the world's most unique canine sporting events.
