A celebratory dinner held to mark a record-breaking boxing campaign at the Commonwealth Games 2026 faced controversy after an inaccurate map of India was spotted on restaurant napkins and displayed outside the establishment. The printed map completely omitted the Northeast region and failed to fully depict Jammu and Kashmir. The issue was raised during the event following a historic performance in which the national boxing squad secured five gold medals and one silver medal.
