Outgoing Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah was on Tuesday (June 2, 2026) named as a member of the Congress Working Committee. The announcement by the party came a day before the swearing-in ceremony of chief minister-designate D K Shivakumar and days after Siddaramaiah's resignation.
