Delhi HC Transfers Judge Hearing NEET-UG 2026 Paper Leak Cases, Justice Ajay Gupta To Take Over Published By, Last Updated: August 01, 2026, 22:59 IST Following a major Delhi High Court reshuffle, Special Judge Ajay Gupta will hear the NEET-UG 2026 paper leak cases after the transfer of Judge Anu Grover Baliga. The Delhi High Court has transferred Special Judge Anu Grover Baliga, who was hearing the NEET-UG 2026 paper leak cases in the Special Fast-Track Court, as part of a major reshuffle in the Delhi Higher Judicial Service (DHJS). Special Judge Ajay Gupta will now hear the cases regarding paper leak.

The transfer comes under the High Court’s notification ordering the transfer and posting of 138 DHJS officers. The reshuffle also includes 13 judges posted to the Rouse Avenue Special Courts dealing with matters under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), Investigation Agency (NIA) Act, Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act and Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA). Following the transfer, Special Judge Ajay Gupta has been assigned to hear the NEET-UG 2026 paper leak cases before the Special Fast-Track Court. Background The Special Fast-Track Court was recently designated to hear cases registered under the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024, including the alleged NEET-UG 2026 paper leak cases. Judge Anu Grover Baliga had been presiding over the proceedings after the court was constituted to exclusively deal with paper leak matters. With the Delhi High Court’s latest transfer order, the cases will now be heard by Judge Ajay Gupta as part of the wider judicial reshuffle.
