AISA President Neha Bora has claimed that the CJP protest movement was not a spontaneous eruption but the culmination of years of student activism against paper leaks, examination irregularities and what she described as a lack of government accountability. Speaking about the role of Left student organisations, Bora said groups such as AISA had been involved from the very beginning of the agitation, helping organise protests, libraries, hunger strikes, campaigns and public outreach efforts.
According to her, the anger visible at the CJP protests had been accumulating over several years due to repeated controversies involving examinations, alleged paper leaks and administrative failures. She argued that the movement found the right platform at the right moment through CJP's satirical and youth-driven style of mobilisation.
