Read Full Story PAWAN KALYAN REFERS TO JANTAR MANTAR PROTESTS Addressing the gathering in Telugu, Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan referred to the protests at Jantar Mantar, saying criticism directed at the Prime Minister had deeply affected him.
"PM Modi is leading India for a third term. So many people spoke harshly about him at Jantar Mantar. It brought tears to my eyes," Kalyan said. Questioning the criticism, he said Modi had dedicated his life to the nation and continued to shoulder his responsibilities without taking leave. Kalyan also said the Prime Minister faced challenges both from outside and within the country, adding that any criticism of Modi was, in his view, criticism of him as well. As Kalyan spoke, Naidu was seen explaining parts of the speech to the Prime Minister. After the address, Modi smiled and shook hands with the Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister.
NAIDU URGES SUPPORT FOR PM MODI Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu devoted a significant portion of his speech to praising the Prime Minister, repeatedly leading the audience in chants of "Modi, Modi" and "Thank you." Appealing for continued support, Naidu said, "Protect PM Modi's leadership." Without directly referring to the recent protests, he said critics should recognise the Prime Minister's contribution over the past 25 years, first as Gujarat Chief Minister and later as Prime Minister. "Without Narendra Modi, we cannot imagine Viksit Bharat by 2047," Naidu said, adding that India could become the world's number one country under Modi's leadership. NARA LOKESH BACKS PM MODI'S LEADERSHIP Andhra Pradesh IT Minister Nara Lokesh also praised the Prime Minister, saying NDA's "double-engine governments" were working at "rocket speed" from the Sundarbans to Sriharikota.
Expressing confidence in Modi's leadership, Lokesh said he hoped the Prime Minister would continue in office after the 2029 general election. The airport inauguration, intended to highlight Andhra Pradesh's aviation infrastructure, ultimately became a platform for the state's NDA leadership to project a united political message in support of Prime Minister Modi.
