The review comes amid heightened scrutiny of competitive examinations following recent concerns over paper leaks and irregularities in national entrance tests.
During the meeting, Nadda assessed the arrangements put in place for the postgraduate medical entrance examination and directed officials to ensure that the exam is conducted in a fair, student-friendly and seamless manner. He also reviewed the security measures designed to safeguard the integrity of the examination process. The Health Minister appealed to candidates not to be misled by rumours or misinformation circulating on social media or other platforms. He assured aspirants that robust security protocols have been implemented to ensure a credible and transparent examination.
The centre has stepped up efforts to strengthen the conduct of entrance examinations after several competitive tests, including NEET-UG, came under the spotlight over allegations of paper leaks and malpractice.
