Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Vivek Yadav said that the number of voters in the State as per the draft Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls as on July 24, 2026 stood at 3,71,38,182, including 1,82,06,954 male, 1,89,28,492 female and 2,736 of the third gender, who submitted their enumeration forms out of 4,16,27,694 electors that existed at the pre-SIR stage. The final electoral rolls will be published on October 3, 2026.
The number of service electors as per the draft is 64,502, the CEO said in a press release. It was stated that those who were unable to submit their filled-in enumeration forms within the specified time (June 15 to July, 24, 2026) can file Form-6 along with the prescribed declaration forms for inclusion during the claims and objections period (July 31 - August 30). Overseas Indians Applications for addition of overseas Indians have to be filed in Form-6A and applications for objecting proposed inclusion or seeking the deletion of existing entries, in Form-7.
Shifting of residences within or outside a constituency by existing elector, applications for correction in particulars, replacement of Electors’ Photo Identity Cards without correction and marking of PWD (Persons with Disability) elector must be filed in Form-8. Verification The general public/electors and representatives of political parties can inspect/verify the draft photo electoral rolls at the offices of the Electoral Registration Officers/Assistant Electoral Registration Officers and with all Booth Level Officers of all Assembly constituencies and also visit the CEO website and ECINET mobile app or ECI’s website for inspection of the draft electoral rolls.
The total number of absent / shifted / dead / duplicate electors and enumeration forms uncollected was 44,89,512.
