A fresh controversy has erupted after a Zero FIR was filed over allegedly abusive remarks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his late mother during a student protest. Speaking exclusively, complainant and advocate Smriti Singh Chandel defended the complaint, arguing that freedom of speech cannot justify abusive language or personal attacks. She said those involved should publicly apologize, adding that she would consider withdrawing the FIR if they express regret and promise not to repeat such conduct.
