This precarious situation stems from reports that a significant faction of TMC legislators is disgruntled with Mamata Banerjee. They are reportedly preparing to choose a different leader to replace her. In essence, having already lost the Chief Minister's chair, she now faces the daunting prospect of losing control over the party itself.
