Calls are growing for more European Union funding to support efforts to combat wildfires raging across several countries - with more breaking out every day. Huge blazes in France and Spain have caused unprecedented evacuations of tens of thousands of people. More and more countries are reporting out-of-control fires, including Greece, Turkey, Portugal and the UK.
