Balochistan has witnessed a fresh surge in militant violence after six abducted laborers were found dead in the Kech district near Turbat, in an attack that security officials have attributed to the banned Baloch Liberation Army (BLA).
According to security sources, the incident began on July 27 in the Klatuk area of Kech district. Armed militants intercepted a group of laborers, shot dead one worker identified as Javed from Swabi in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and abducted six others.
