Finance Department says remaining pending dues will be settled in a phased manner The State government on Thursday released the third instalment of ₹2,000 crore towards pending dues of employees and pensioners, completing its commitment to disburse ₹6,000 crore within 100 days. Sandeep Kumar Sultania released the funds following the directions of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka. With the latest release, the government has paid a total of ₹6,000 crore in three equal instalments of ₹2,000 crore each.
The first instalment was released on May 29, the second on June 30, and the third on Thursday (July 30), fulfilling the assurance given to the Joint Action Committee (JAC) of employees. Officials said the remaining pending dues would also be cleared in a phased manner in the coming days.
According to the Finance Department, the government has accorded top priority to the welfare of retired employees. The release of funds has enabled the complete clearance of long-pending commutation dues of retired employees.
