One of us was leaving. We still managed to find 90 seconds at the same gate to hold hands and pretend we had all the time in the world," he wrote. Arya said the couple has jokingly begun calling such fleeting encounters their "meetings." "Most couples go on dates. We do layovers," he added. Reflecting on life as founders building a company together, Arya said this was never something they had planned for when they got married. Instead, it gradually became the reality of balancing a relationship with the demands of running a startup.
"Nobody plans a marriage like this. It just becomes the shape your life takes when you build something together," he wrote, adding that the same principle of making the most of limited time has guided both their business and their nine-year marriage.
