Amid all the mess, there have been new theories about his tragic death.No, there are no confirmations on this even though a few witnesses have spoken about him drinking that night.A few hours ago, as per a report by WXXV, a board-certified forensic pathologist who has not worked on the case has weighed in on the preliminary findings related to Nolan Wells’ tragic death.Dr. Judy Melinek, president and CEO of PathologyExpert Inc., said, “One thing to keep in mind is that when a body starts to decompose, especially if it isn’t found right away, bacteria can produce alcohol in the bloodstream.”Dr. Judy Melinek added, “So, when the toxicology report comes back, if it shows a small amount of alcohol, that is not necessarily an indication that Nolan Wells was drinking alcohol at the time of his death or before he died.It could indicate that bacteria produced alcohol after his death, meaning he had no alcohol in his system when he died.”Dr. Judy Melinek continued, “We need to evaluate that report in the context of how advanced the decomposition was at the time of the first autopsy in order to interpret the findings properly…”For the unversed, in the last few hours, as per ABC News, a police report from the Mississippi Department of Marine Resources has revealed that witnesses have spoken about how the 18 year old wide receiver Nolan Wells was seen drinking Horn Island in Mississippi, just hours before his tragic passing.However, nothing has been confirmed yet as authorities largely suspect that Nolan Wells passed due to drowning.At this point in time, the reports from the toxicology tests and the official autopsy report from the state Medical Examiner's Office are still pending.But a private autopsy conducted by Nolan Wells' family has revealed the cause of his death to be, "undetermined pending investigation."Over the last few weeks since Nolan Wells’ tragic death, there have been many theories about how he could have been murdered.As per ABC News, Jackson County Sheriff John Ledbetter has made it clear that there are no indications of a crime taking place even as investigators were "working diligently to determine exactly what occurred."For now, the cause of his death remains unknown as Nolan Wells’ tragic passing has many friends and family mourning for him.
