The Chief Minister said that all future proposals would be taken forward in accordance with the State’s development priorities and the procedures prescribed by the Centre. Ongoing projects The AIIB delegation noted that ongoing projects with AIIB involvement such as the Kochi Metro Phase II (Pink Line), the Kerala Solid Waste Management Project, the Resilient Kerala Programme and the Dam Rehabilitation and Improvement Project (DRIP-II) have laid a strong foundation for expanding cooperation in new sectors, according to the CMO.
Further, the AIIB team noted that Kerala’s emphasis on green infrastructure, climate resilience, connectivity, technology-enabled development and private capital mobilisation closely aligns with the Bank’s Strategy 2030. “The State’s priorities in infrastructure development, urban transformation, water security, health, education, transport and energy were identified as areas offering significant scope for future collaboration,” the statement said.
