Pakistan Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has defended the use of force against protesters in Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK), saying he considers the demonstrators “enemies” on par with India. His remarks came as India accused Pakistan of carrying out oppression and brutality against civilians following fresh reports of firing by Pakistani security forces in the region.
