‘Our Homeland, Our Rule’: PoK’s Awami Leader Announces ‘Unstoppable’ March To Muzaffarabad | Exclusive Reported By, Last Updated: July 29, 2026, 14:20 IST Awami Action Committee leader Sardar Aman Khan vowed that the protest movement would continue regardless of resistance Rapid Read Supporters of the Joint Awami Action Committee (JAAC) gather during a weeks-long protest in Neelum Valley, in PoK. (AFP File) Awami Action Committee leader Sardar Aman Khan has announced an “unstoppable" march towards Muzaffarabad, issuing a series of sharp attacks on Pakistan’s military and the region’s political leadership while declaring, “Our homeland, our rule." Addressing supporters, Aman Khan vowed that the protest movement would continue regardless of resistance, saying, “Even if a single one of us remains alive, he will reach there, God willing." He praised demonstrators for their participation, adding that the movement had “just begun" and asserted that “on our homeland, it will be our rule." In a direct challenge to the leadership in Muzaffarabad, Aman Khan urged political leaders to remain in the city and face protesters instead of fleeing.
“If you are true to your word, stay right there. Don’t run away. Don’t run off to Kashmir House," he said, accusing those in power of living in luxury at the expense of taxpayers. Aman Khan also launched a scathing attack on Pakistan’s military, accusing it of using force against unarmed civilians. The Awami Action Committee leader further claimed that the current political arrangement in the region was no longer acceptable and demanded “new, equal agreements" with the people if the authorities wished to continue governing. “There is no place for you in Kashmir. You will have to make new, equal agreements with us if you want to stay," he said.
Projecting confidence in the movement’s momentum, Aman Khan urged supporters to remain steadfast, saying that “the power of God" was with them and declaring that “the pride of these thugs will be reduced to dust" as the march towards Muzaffarabad gathers pace.
