Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) president Om Prakash Rajbhar is continuously targeting Samajwadi Party (SP) president Akhilesh Yadav through a parallel PDA slogan, “Pitt dega Ahir” (Yadav caste will beat us), and criticising alleged atrocities committed by the Yadav community under the patronage of SP leadership. This aims to create a clear division between Yadavs and non-Yadav Other Backward Classes (OBCs). Through this narrative, Mr. Rajbhar is seeking relevance among the Rajbhar community and other social groups in Eastern U.P. PDA (Pichhda, Dalit, Alpasankhyak), an acronym for Backwards, Dalit and Minorities, is a plank used by the SP led by Akhilesh Yadav, calling for a broader unity of social justice forces. “Akhilesh Yadav Ji, in every village, your party is known as a party of goons and mafia. This is 100% true. When in power, you bring a complete package of ‘jungle raj.’ Non-Yadav backward classes and Bahujans openly face oppression.

They run an entire ‘Saifai syndicate’ of crime. Fed up with the arrogance of you and your fellow anti-social elements, even Muslims are now deserting you. We are now convinced that in 2027, you will not even be able to become the main Opposition party,” wrote Mr. Rajbhar on X on Tuesday (July 28, 2026). Recently, Mr. Rajbhar said, “Akhilesh Yadav. You have an amazing double standard. On one hand, you pretend to honour Brahmins and hold Brahmin conferences, while on the other, you violently act under ‘PDA’ Pitt Dega Ahir (Ahirs will beat you). Just yesterday, in Ghazipur, your own caste-based goons didn’t even spare the priest of the Baba Gangeshwarnath temple and his four-year-old innocent child.

They brutally assaulted them, leaving them bleeding. Your goons not only brutally beat the unarmed priest, but also attacked his four-year-old child with a shovel, breaking his head. Please teach your goons a lesson. I’m offering this advice so we can have a decent opposition in the elections. If your people continue to indulge in such hooliganism, believe me, you won’t even win the 25-30 seats you’ve hoped for,” alleged the SBSP chief. Analyst says Mr. Rajbhar’s pitch is for relevance in U.P. politics and in line with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) push for Yadav vs non-Yadav OBC plank in the electoral chessboard. “Om Prakash Rajbhar is a marginal player limited to a few districts in Eastern U.P., his political capital eroded in 2024 Lok Sabha, with Arvind Rajbhar losing by a huge margin in Ghosi Lok Sabha to the SP candidate, but for relevance the SBSP president is making such statements suiting the BJP broader agenda and making the saffron party bosses happy,” said Sharat Pradhan, a Lucknow based veteran political commentator.
