Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju launched a sharp attack on the Opposition during the debate on the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Amendment Bill, 2026, accusing opposition parties of politicising the legislation instead of discussing its provisions. Rijiju alleged that Congress leaders spoke on issues beyond the scope of the Bill and urged Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi to focus on the proposed law when he addresses Parliament.
