The Central Bureau of Investigation has filed its first charge sheet in the NEET paper leak case, naming 13 individuals as accused. Among those charged are three Testing Agency subject experts and top professors accused of leaking physics, chemistry, and biology examination papers. Middlemen have also been accused of circulating the leaked papers to candidates.
The charges against the accused include criminal conspiracy, cheating, breach of trust, and destruction of evidence. If the new exam reforms bill currently being discussed in Parliament passes and becomes law, the trial in this case could conclude within three months, potentially leading to the first conviction under the new legislation.
