The Central Bureau of Investigation's Economic Offence Wing has filed a charge sheet against 13 accused persons in connection with the NEET UG paper leak case. All 13 accused are currently in judicial custody. The charge sheet has been submitted before Delhi's Rouse Avenue Court and is scheduled to be taken up for hearing before a special fast-track court set up for paper leak cases.
The alleged leak of the entrance exam paper triggered nationwide protests and led to investigations into conduct irregularities. Following court registration, the fast-track court will consider taking cognizance of the charge sheet to proceed toward the framing of charges.
