The Visakhapatnam Metropolitan Region Development Authority (VMRDA) has speeded up infrastructure works to connect the city to the Alluri Sitarama Raju International Airport at Bhogapuram, which will be inaugurated on August 1. At a briefing, VMRDA Commissioner N. Tej Bharath said the Authority had developed and upgraded seven arterial roads for smooth transit from Visakhapatnam to the airport.
