The Supreme Court of India is hearing a batch of petitions related to citizenship amendment protests, police action, and allegations of police brutality at Jantar Mantar and other regions. Amid the ongoing proceedings, the family members of four injured police personnel, including one Assistant Commissioner of Police, two Assistant Sub-Inspectors, and one constable, have filed an application seeking Supreme Court guidelines to protect officers on law and order duty.
