He said Priyanka Gandhi, an MP from Keralam’s Wayanad, had called him a day before her brother, Rahul’s, visit to his residence. She jokingly asked Irfan to convince him to get married, adding he didn’t listen to her. “I told her that I hoped Rahul Gandhi would not get married," Irfan told the outlet as he recalled the witty exchange. How Irfan Became A Viral Sensation Irfan, in an interview with The Lallantop, had voiced concerns on issues faced by workers in unorganised sectors in India. Reflecting on the plight of workers, he broke down during the interview, prompting public reactions and widespread conversation on social media. Irfan, 35, has maintained that he didn’t join the students’ protest at Jantar Mantar for attention but to raise his voice on issues concerning unorganised workers. The CJP Protest A widespread students’ protest –– spearheaded by the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) –– concluded Saturday, July 25, at Jantar Mantar in Delhi following the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. Students had been protesting the recent paper leak linked to the May 3 Eligibility-cum-Entrance (NEET-UG) 2026.
They sought broader educational reforms and the resignation of the education minister.
