Live: High Court to hear Delhi Gymkhana Club members' plea amid eviction row

The Delhi High Court is hearing legal challenges regarding the central government's move to evict the Delhi Gymkhana Club from its 27.3-acre property on Safdarjung Road. The court previously deferred estate officer proceedings and recorded the government's assurance that any legal steps would follow due process of law rather than immediate forceful eviction.
At the last hearing earlier this month, a bench of Justice Avneesh Jhingan asked the central government to respond to petitions filed by club members and the staff welfare association challenging a June 29 show-cause notice for the club's eviction from its premises.
The pleas seek a stay on the execution of the show-cause notice. Stay with IndiaToday.in for live updates.
