Trump shared an AI-generated image showing himself apparently travelling back in time to rescue America’s first president, George Washington- adding another surreal post to a growing collection of digitally created images on his Truth Social account.

The artwork appears to be styled like the poster of a fictional Hollywood film and does not depict a real historical event. It is the latest in a series of AI-created images Trump has shared in recent days. Trump also shared an AI-generated image that appeared to merge CNN anchor Kaitlan Collins with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney. The post followed remarks he made about both figures during the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner. He has also shared AI artwork referencing Iran, “Trump 2028" and even a massive “air filter wall" along the US-Canada border.

White House Communications Director Steven Cheung defended Trump’s use of Truth Social, saying the platform allows the president to communicate directly with the public without what he described as media bias. “We don’t discuss internal deliberations of how the process works, but no other social-media tool has been more effective than Truth," Cheung said.
