Following days of student protests over the NEET agitation, the Bihar government has announced major decisions regarding police action. The government confirmed that no punitive or retaliatory measures will be taken against individuals who participated in the protests up until 6:00 PM on July 26.
Additionally, authorities have initiated the process to withdraw all FIRs, complaints, and show-cause notices registered prior to the specified deadline. Around 350 arrested or detained individuals are set to be released, with assurances that no future direct or indirect action will be pursued against those named in these cases.
