TEJASHWI STEPS UP ATTACK ON NDA Meanwhile, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav stepped up his attack on the NDA government, saying the message from the people of Bankipur would reach every corner of the country. Targeting the BJP, Tejashwi alleged that those involved in corruption and “chanda chori” would face a strong response from Bankipur voters. He also attacked Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary, questioning the government’s handling of the state and raising concerns related to law and order.
Reacting to the arrest of his elder brother Tej Pratap Yadav and students during a protest, Tejashwi said a major agitation would be launched if they were not released. ‘PRASHANT KISHOR’S VOTE BASE WILL BE TESTED’ Tejashwi also questioned the vote base of Prashant Kishor’s Jan Suraaj Party, which is contesting the Bankipur by-election. He said the election results would reveal the level of support Kishor enjoys among voters. Prashant Kishor’s entry has added another layer to the contest, with the Jan Suraaj Party attempting to create political space beyond the traditional BJP-RJD rivalry in Bihar. The party is now seeking to establish its presence in the state’s electoral politics by contesting the Bankipur seat.
