KCR urges doctors treating Sudershan Reddy to do everything possible for his recovery

HYDERABAD President of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao on Monday visited a private hospital here where party leader and former MLA Peddi Sudershan Reddy is undergoing treatment following a sudden collapse at his residence in Hanumakonda on Sunday. He enquired about the health condition of Mr. Sudershan Reddy with the team of doctors treating him (Mr. Reddy) and spoke to his family members.
He requested the doctors to do whatever possible to save the party leader. The doctors explained to Mr. Rao that they were offering the best possible treatment and said it would take another 48 hours to make complete assessment of the patient’s condition and his recovery process. According to BRS leaders, the doctors informed Mr. Chandrashekhar Rao that heart, lungs and other vital organs were functioning satisfactorily but the brain was yet to rejuvenate completely and that they would be in a position to give a clear picture only after 48 hours.
Rao assured the family members of Mr. Sudershan Reddy that the party would extend necessary financial support for his treatment and told them to be brave. Several senior leaders of the party, including B. Vinod Kumar, T. Harish Rao, T. Srinivas Yadav, V. Prashanth Reddy, K. Sanjay Kumar, T. Rajaiah, Satyavathi Rathod, M. Kavitha and others accompanied Mr. Rao to the hospital. Earlier in the day, party working president K.T. Rama Rao, other leaders, Minister for Panchayat Raj and Rural Development D.
Seethakka and others visited the hospital and enquired about the condition of Mr. Sudershan Reddy.
