A day-long workshop for CBSE school managers and principals in Malappuram district was held at MES Central School, Valanchery, focusing on academic guidelines, quality improvement, and school management practices. Malappuram Sahodaya and Malappuram Central Sahodaya jointly organised the workshop in association with the CBSE Centre of Excellence, Thiruvananthapuram.
S. Nirmala, head of the CBSE Centre of Excellence, inaugurated the workshop. She exhorted schools to ensure timely completion of mandatory teacher training programmes prescribed by the CBSE. P. Haridas, CBSE city coordinator, Malappuram, presided over the function. Mansoor Ali Gurukkal, MES Central School chairman, delivered the keynote address.
The workshop covered topics, including the Education Policy, CBSE academic guidelines, school quality enhancement, teacher development, examination reforms, and student-centred learning methods. CBSE resource person Sweety S. Pulikkottil and district training coordinator Jobin Sebastian led the technical sessions. Confederation of Kerala Sahodaya Complexes president Joji Paul, Malappuram Sahodaya president M.
Abdul Nazar, general secretary M. Jouhar, Malappuram Central Sahodaya president Noufal Puthanpeediyekkal, and general secretary Aneesh Kumar C.C. spoke. As many as 225 school managers and principals participated in the workshop.
