The impact left Sundarappa (60) and his wife Venkatamma (50) dead on the spot. The couple were residents of nearby Beera Kuppam village and were travelling on the motorcycle. Four-year-old Bujji, who was standing near the parked water tanker, was also crushed to death.
Five bystanders suffered injuries in the accident and were rushed to PES Medical College hospital for treatment.
