Lok Sabha was adjourned till 5 PM after Speaker Om Birla urged the government and opposition to reach a consensus on debating the Public Examination Amendment Bill. The Speaker offered six hours or more for discussion, while Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju said blocking the debate would send the wrong message to the country’s youth.
