BJP MP and actor Kangana Ranaut launched a scathing attack on the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP)-led agitation over the NEET paper leak, describing viral videos from the protests as "puke-inducing" and accusing the demonstrators of spreading "filth and ugliness". Claiming that India was "a place of diversely beautiful people, draped in elegance and rooted in cultural sophistication", the BJP MP took aim at the CJP, writing, "You call yourself cockroaches and look and behave like them as well. There is no paradox or juxtaposition there, just simply subjecting the world to your filth, garbage and ugliness." She added that watching the videos had left her "scarred" and said she needed "some healing" and a "digital detox." Earlier in the day, she also criticised the Opposition for disrupting Parliament during the introduction of the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Amendment Bill, 2026, alleging that it was deliberately obstructing education reforms.
Speaking to reporters, Ranaut also accused the Opposition of attempting to stall legislative business. Referring to the anti-paper leak Bill, she said, "I think they have made up their minds that until they get the chair, they won't let Parliament function, no matter how crucial the issues."
