The Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Amendment Bill, 2026 is set to be tabled in the Lok Sabha today with tougher penalties for exam fraud, including up to 10 years in jail and fines of up to โน10 crore for exam mafias. While the Centre prepares to push its exam reform agenda, the INDIA bloc is demanding an urgent discussion on the alleged use of excessive force against protesting students, setting the stage for a politically charged debate in Parliament.
