The Karnataka Public Service Commission has put the final selection list for 400 Veterinary Officer posts on hold after aspirants alleged they were asked to pay ₹40–80 lakh for recruitment. Following India Today's report and the emergence of alleged sting audio recordings, the KPSC has formed an internal inquiry committee and ordered a detailed probe into the recruitment process.
