After 49 days of nationwide protests, the Cockroach Janata Party called off its agitation following the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. The decision came after CJP leaders met Union Ministers JP Nadda and Jitendra Singh, issuing a 72-hour ultimatum that was conveyed to Home Minister Amit Shah.
Alongside the resignation, the government initiated steps to restructure the Testing Agency, relieving 47 officials from their positions. Following a joint meeting, CJP leaders announced the end of the protest in good faith, calling it a victory for the youth as students began returning home.
