A multi-specialty free health check-up camp was jointly organised by ClearMedi Hospitals and the Vijayanagar 3rd Stage Residentsā Welfare Association at V.K. Public School in Vijayanagar 3rd Stage here on Sunday. The day-long camp, held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., was inaugurated by Chamundeshwari MLA G.T. Deve Gowda, who expressed his happiness for taking healthcare to the doorsteps of the people.
The MLA, in his address, said good health is the foundation of a happy and productive life and urged the public to make preventive healthcare a priority. He observed that free medical camps play a vital role in ensuring that expert healthcare reaches every section of society, especially those who may not have easy access to specialist treatment.
Ravi Kumar Sanjeevanna, Regional Director of ClearMedi Hospitals and Vijayanagar 3rd Stage Residentsā Welfare Association president Ravikumar were behind organising the camp. Sanjeevanna said the camp witnessed good response with nearly 400 people availing themselves of
free medical consultations and diagnostic services. A team of specialists from General Medicine, General Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Pulmonology, ENT, Orthopaedics and Joint Care, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Urology, Pain Management, and Oncology examined patients and offered medical advice.
