Vedic knowledge will continue to play a vital role in the Indian knowledge system, which has borrowed from the Vedas to improve subjects like astronomy, mathematics, vastu, ayurveda, architecture, and others, said Richa Shinde, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of South Asia LPG Limited, on Sunday (July 26, 2026).
Along with Income Tax Department Tribunal member Ch. Omkareshwar, she attended as the chief guest for the valedictory ceremony of the 26th Vedic Education Conclave held at the Sri Gurudeva Charitable Trust in Mangalampalem, Vizianagaram district. Speaking on the occasion, she said that such conclaves would highlight the role of Vedas in the Indian knowledge system.
Hindustan Shipyard Limited Director E. Kiran said that knowledge dissemination and intellectual interactions would be possible with such conclaves. Janardhnanda Saraswati Trust president Tumuluri Sainath Sarma, Vedic scholar Gullapalli Seetaramachandra, Viswanatha Gopala Krishna Shastri and Uttarandhra Veda Vidya Trust president Ch. S. Prasad clarified doubts of the students and others at the conclave.
The Trust founder Raparthi Jagadish Babu said that the trust would provide financial assistance for the needy students who wanted to pursue Vedas and relevant courses. Maitri Mining Infra Limited Managing Director T. Balapavan and others were present at the conclave.
